Will there be no salary revision without pay commission?

The dearness allowance (DA) for government employees increases irrespective of the establishment of a pay commission. Once the DA increases by 50 per cent of the basic salary, it merges with the basic pay and the new figure becomes the basic salary. So, even if there is no pay commission, the procedure will follow itself, and the basic salary of central government employees will increase.
