7th Pay Commission: Good news! Employees of this state to get 7th CPC wage hike, arrears

7th Pay Commission: The central government employees are still waiting for the Dearness Allowance (DA) announcement, but there are many states which have already declared DA for the second quarter. The most recent announcement has come from Rajasthan where employees belonging to nine technical institutes, including two universities, will get benefits under the 7th Pay Commission. According to the official statement, the revised pay with arrears will be effective from January 1, 2017. Notably, employees of these institutes will get the 7th CPC benefits with arrears.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot cleared the proposal to implement the Seventh Pay Commission in these technical institutes, said the government statement, adding that the 7th Pay Commission will be implemented in Kota Technical University, Bikaner Technical University, Textile and Engineering College in Bhilwara, and government engineering colleges in Jhalawar, Baran, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Bikaner and women engineering college in Ajmer. Applications are invited for the post of Staff Car Driver and Library Attendant in group 'C' at Armed Forced Tribunal. The mode of recruitment is a direct appointment. There is one vacancy for Staff Car Driver and one vacancy for Library Attendant post mentioned in the notification. For Staff Car Driver post, selected candidates will get the 7th pay commission Pay Band 1 (Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200) with grade pay of Rs 1,900.
