Subhadra Yojana: The Odisha government has launched the Subhadra Yojana, a financial assistance scheme aimed at empowering women across the state. Under this initiative, eligible women will receive Rs 10,000 per year in two installments to help them become self-reliant and financially stable.

The scheme was officially launched on 17 September 2024, coinciding with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government has allocated a budget of Rs 55,825 crore for the scheme, which will run for five years. A total of Rs 50,000 will be provided to each beneficiary during this period.
