Gone are days when one had to visit the home branch of his bank for minor requirements like the change of address, change of mobile number, etc. Now in the era of the internet, people can get such changes online and India's largest public sector bank SBI is leading from the front in this regard. The SBI online service helps you change your mobile number without visiting the bank. The SBI allows its account holders to change their mobile number through three options — Internet Banking, SBI ATMs and Phone Banking.

For availing the net banking option one need to have both the mobile numbers — older and new one — active and with the account holder at the time of mobile number change as OTP for the change of mobile number is sent on both numbers. For availing the ATM option or IRATA (Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM) click at the IRATA option in the ATM and then proceed. For availing the phone banking facility for changing the mobile number, the account holder has to choose the Approval through contact center' and proceed.
