There are a number of ways to check your EPF balance. You can check through SMS, by giving a missed call, UMANG app, or the EPFO website. You just need to have a UAN (universal account number), phone number, and internet connection.

Here is a step-by-step guide to check your PF balance through different ways.

1. Check the PF balance on the EPFO website

  • Go to www.epfindia.gov.in.
  • Click 'For Employees' under the 'Our Services' section.
  • Choose the 'Member Passbook' option from the 'Services' menu.
  • On the login screen, enter your UAN, password, and the captcha code.
  • Once logged in, you can see your PF balance and transaction history.

2. Check PF balance through missed call

- Dial 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
- The call will end automatically, and you will receive an SMS with your PF details.

3. Check PF balance via SMS

  • Write an SMS in this format: EPFOHO UAN ENG.
  • Replace ‘ENG’ with the first three letters of your preferred language.
  • Send the SMS to 7738299899.

4. Check PF balance on the UMANG website

- Open the UMANG website.
- Search for EPFO services and log in with your UAN and password.
- View your PF passbook and transaction history.

5. Check PF balance through the UMANG app

  • Download the UMANG app from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Sign up with your mobile number.
  • Confirm your mobile number by using OTP.
  • Open the application and tap the 3 horizontal lines in the top-left corner.
  • Go to the service directory and search for EPFO.
  • Select View Passbook and log in using your credentials.
