Employee Provident Fund, or EPF, is a retirement savings account in which both employer and employee transfer a percentage of an employee's monthly salary. The accumulated amount can be availed upon retirement or after switching jobs. This scheme is available for all the salaried employees.
There are a number of ways to check your EPF balance. You can check through SMS, by giving a missed call, UMANG app, or the EPFO website. You just need to have a UAN (universal account number), phone number, and internet connection.
Here is a step-by-step guide to check your PF balance through different ways.

- Dial 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
- The call will end automatically, and you will receive an SMS with your PF details.
