With technology penetrating every walk of life, banks are trying to improve customer services with new modes of the cash transactions, which are convenient and secure. Now, you are no longer required to carry debit or credit cards or hold a bank account to withdraw money. These services make people's life easier.  This method of the transaction may change the way we make cash transaction in the coming years. ICICI Bank, SBI, and Axis Bank are the banks which offer cardless cash transaction facilities. 

ICICI Bank ATMs:
ICICI Bank offers cardless cash withdrawal facility at its ATMs. The recipient need not have any bank account and can withdraw cash from over 10,000 ICICI Bank ATMs across India, without any ATM card, using the details received through an SMS.  All you need is to login to ICICI Bank with your Internet Banking user ID and password and initiate a cardless cash withdrawal transaction.
You can also get information regarding the facility availability at ATMs from the ICICI Bank website - icicibank.com.

SBI ATMs:
State Bank of India (SBI) also has a cardless cash withdrawal facility at its ATMs. SBI bank customers can withdraw  up to Rs 20,000 a day without using debit or credit card. A person who does not have a bank account with the bank can withdraw between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000 without ATM card from SBI ATMs. At present, this service is present on a limited number of ATMs. However, all ATMs will get covered shortly. 
The step-by-step process for cashless withdrawal:
1. Use bottom right FDK/touch screen of the ATM against IMT logo
2. Enter beneficiary mobile number
3. Enter sender code
4. Enter SMS code received on mobile
5. Enter the amount you want to withdraw
6. Select YES or NO on the screen for confirmation and collect the cash

Axis Bank ATMs:
Axis Bank also offers the cardless transaction facility at its ATMs. First, a person has to activate Instant Money Transfer (IMT) service. Axis Bank customers can login to Axis Bank internet banking and initiate IMT. Customers can register beneficiaries by entering the beneficiary's name, mobile number and address. To withdraw money, one has to elect IMT option and needs to enter details such as mobile number, SMS Code, and the amount. Now, a person will be able to withdraw cash. For further details, one can visit the bank's website.
