Jha explained that investors should have a diversified investment portfolio to achieve the set financial goals. It is important for investors to have 20-25% share as gold investment in their portfolios. Care should be taken to ensure it does not become too less or too much. Experts recommend this type of distribution in the portfolio to protect investors from major damage at a time when the markets are shaky.
Remember, even if other investments fail, gold can be a saviour for you in bad times, he added. In the financial crisis of 2008, when all other investments failed, gold still gave a 30% return to the investors.
