Bank Holidays in November: After Diwali and Chhath holidays, banks will remain closed for four days in this week. It is suggested hence that you complete all bank-related works of this week as soon as possible. According Bank of India staff association secretary V K Sengar, banks are closed today on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad, also known as Mawlid, Milad-Un Nabi and Barawafat. 

Banks will remain closed in many states on 23 November on the occasion of Gurunanak Jayanti. In most of the states, banks will be closed on 24th November as it is the fourth Saturday of the month, while Sunday (25th November) is a bank holday across the country. In Karnataka, banks will be closed on 26th November also but only in Karnataka on the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanthi

24 November - Fourth Saturday; Holiday in Punjab
25 November -  Sunday Holiday
26 November - Only in Karnataka

Earlier, banks were closed this month on account of a number of holidays including Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Chhath.

Banks have said that there will be no shortage of cash at ATMs during the holidays.
