According to data from mutual fund industry body AMFI, the top five midcap mutual funds have grown at an annualised 26.95-29.47 per cent (direct mode) in three years, as of November 26. To put this into perspective, a lump sum amount of Rs 1 lakh invested in these schemes has grown to approximately Rs 2.05 lakh-2.17 lakh during this period.
