AMFI Data November 2025: India’s mutual fund industry scaled a major milestone in November as total assets under management (AUM) crossed Rs 80 lakh crore for the first time, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

The rise in AUM came despite sharp moderation in monthly inflows across categories.

Equity inflows moderate sharply

Equity mutual funds saw net inflows of Rs 29,911 crore in November.

However, the industry recorded an overall net outflow of Rs 25,692 crore, a steep reversal from the Rs 1.59 lakh crore net inflow in October, reflecting heavy withdrawals from debt and liquid categories as companies met month-end obligations.

Hybrid schemes see stable traction

Hybrid mutual fund schemes recorded Rs 13,299 crore in inflows in November.

This was slightly lower than Rs 14,156 crore in October, but still showed steady demand for balanced and asset-allocation products amid market volatility.

Gold ETFs see dip in inflows

Gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted Rs 3,742 crore in November.

This is a sharp drop from Rs 7,743 crore in October, as investors booked profits after the recent rally in global gold prices.
