The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) marked an important moment at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 on Monday as it unveiled its first modern digital pavilion at Bharat Mandapam. Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the display and said it reflects EPFO’s move towards a more technology-driven, member-focused and future-ready service model. Mandaviya said IITF has long served as a window into India’s development journey, and EPFO’s debut pavilion signals the organisation’s renewed identity grounded in transparency, efficiency and large-scale service delivery. He emphasised EPFO’s expanding role in safeguarding the financial dignity of crores of workers across the country.
The Minister highlighted the transformation EPFO has undergone - from manual systems to fully digital platforms - ensuring provident fund services reach workers across formal, gig, rural and urban sectors with equal speed and dignity.
Over the past year, EPFO has introduced several digital upgrades, including an enhanced unified portal, a redesigned website, simplified online claims, real-time grievance redressal, paperless onboarding and doorstep pensioner support through Digital Life Certificates. These steps, Mandaviya said, are helping build a smoother citizen experience and a more reliable social security ecosystem.
He noted that the pavilion is more than a display; it represents EPFO’s commitment to becoming “Future-Ready, Member-Centric and Technology-Driven”, and demonstrates the power of digital public services in strengthening trust between citizens and institutions.
EPFO officers are present at each desk to guide visitors through real-time services. People can file PF claims, make Joint Declarations, generate UANs and submit Digital Life Certificates on the spot.
Interactive touch-screen kiosks, process videos, publications, quizzes and large display screens help visitors understand EPFO’s processes and the broader vision of social security for all.
To engage younger visitors, the pavilion features a Kidz Play Zone, puppet shows, Nukkad Natak performances, a selfie booth and social-media activities, along with painting competitions and giveaways.
Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje congratulated EPFO on the initiative and encouraged officials to help visitors make the most of the digital services on offer.
