Bank Holidays in November 2025: As November begins and the festive season winds down, most people are returning to their regular routines. However, banks across the country will remain closed for around 9 to 10 days in the upcoming month. Customers planning to visit their branch are advised to check the list of bank holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) before scheduling any transactions.
Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Dehradun on November 1 on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava/Igas-Baghwal.
According to the official holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India, banks will be closed in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar on September 5 on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima.
November 2, November 8, November 9, November 16, November 22, November 23 and November 30 will be Saturdays and Sundays, which are regular weekly bank holidays across the country.
In total, banks in various states will remain closed for about nine days in November 2025, factoring in weekends, second and fourth Saturdays, and festivals like Wangala, Guru Nanak Jayanti and more.
While physical branches will remain closed during these days, customers can continue to use ATMs, internet banking, mobile apps, and UPI services without interruption, except in rare cases of scheduled maintenance.
