Bank Holidays in July 2024 in India: According to the Reserve Bank of India's holiday calendar 2024, private and public sector banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in July across various regions in India. Notably, if you have bank-related work in July, then you should keep a check over the same to avoid any last-minute hassle.
The 12-day holiday in July will include national and regional holidays as well as Sundays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays.

As per the RBI guidelines, bank holidays in India fall into three categories:
- Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act
- Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday
