Bank Holidays in 2026 Full List: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the bank holiday calendar for 2026, offering clarity to customers planning branch visits in the new year. As per the RBI list, banks will remain closed for a total of 39 days in 2026, including weekends such as the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.

Bank Holidays in January 2026

According to the RBI calendar, banks across different states and cities will remain shut for up to 10 days in January 2026. These holidays will not be uniform across the country, as several closures depend on local festivals and regional observances. Apart from festival-related holidays, banks will also be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays, in line with existing norms.
