Bank holidays in June 2023: Private and Public sector banks will remain closed for additional six days in June on account of important days. Hence, banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days this month inclusive of the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar.

Bank holidays in June 2023 full list

Following are the holidays that are listed under the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act.

June 15: Banks to remain closed in Odisha and Mizoram on account of Raja Sankranti.
June 20: Banks to remain shut in Odisha due to Rath Yatra.
June 26: Banks to remain shut in Tripura on account of Kharchi Puja.
June 28: Banks in Kerala, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed for Eid Ul Azha.
June 29: Banks will be closed on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
June 30: Banks in Mizoram and Odisha will be closed on account of Reema Eid Ul Azha.
