Banks are once again struggling with slowing deposit as well as credit growth rates. Data shows that the deposit growth shrank by a year-on-year 240 bps to 10.6 per cent in FY25. Going forward, more rate cuts by the RBI may lead to even slower increases in deposits, say experts.
