Attention, HDFC Bank users! UPI, net banking, online payments to be halted — Check date and time

HDFC Bank has informed customers that several digital banking services, including NetBanking and UPI transactions, will remain temporarily unavailable for four hours on March 14 due to scheduled system maintenance.

The bank said the maintenance exercise is aimed at improving the efficiency and performance of its digital banking platforms.

Services to remain unavailable during maintenance

According to the bank’s communication to customers, the scheduled maintenance will take place between 02:30 AM and 06:30 AM IST on March 14, 2026.

During this period, the following services will not be accessible on the bank’s NetBanking platform and mobile application:

• Accounts access
• Deposits
• Funds transfers including UPI, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS and within-bank transfers
• Online payments
• Other account-related transactions

The bank also clarified that UPI transactions will remain unavailable across platforms, including payments initiated through third-party applications using HDFC Bank UPI handles such as @okhdfcbank.

PayZapp wallet to remain operational

Despite the temporary disruption in core digital banking services, the bank said customers will still be able to make payments and transfer money using its PayZapp wallet during the maintenance window.

The lender said the upgrade is part of efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure and deliver a smoother digital banking experience.

To enhance your banking experience, we are undergoing essential system maintenance on 14th March 2026, 02:30 AM - 06:30 AM IST (4 Hours).

It's important to note that during this period, the following HDFC Bank NetBanking and App services will be unavailable:

Accounts

Deposits

Funds transfers (UPI*, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS & within Bank Transfers)

Online payments

Other account-related transactions

*UPI services will be unavailable during this time, including transactions made on third-party apps using HDFC Bank UPI handles (e.g. @okhdfcbank)

During this time, you can continue to use PayZapp Wallet for payments & money transfer.
