Indian equities in Tuesday's session (February 11, 2025) amid heightened global uncertainty and potential trade war fears ended sharply lower with the Nifty50 index declining over 1 per cent. At the close, the Nifty index shed 1.32 per cent or 309.8 to close at 23,071.8. Meanwhile, broader markets plunged sharply with both the midcap and smallcap indices correcting over 3 per cent each.
