The Nifty 50 index closed at 25,003, a weekly gain of 1 per cent. Similarly, the BSE Sensex advanced by 1 per cent to 82,188.99 over the week. Meanwhile, the Nifty Mid Cap and Nifty 500 indices recorded increases of 2.8 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively.
