Stocks to Watch Today (January 28, 2026): Indian equity markets open on Wednesday, 28 January 2025, with a busy trading session in store. Several Nifty and F&O stocks will announce quarterly results, while an IPO listing, macro data, corporate actions and global cues are expected to drive stock-specific moves through the day.

Marico

Marico reported Q3FY26 consolidated results largely in line with estimates. Revenue rose 26.6% year-on-year to ₹3,537 crore, while EBITDA increased 11% to ₹592 crore. PAT stood at ₹447 crore, up 12% YoY. India volumes grew 8%, while international business posted 21% constant-currency growth. Over 95% of the portfolio gained or sustained market share, though Parachute volumes declined marginally.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea posted a sequential improvement in performance, with losses narrowing more than expected. Revenue grew 1.1% QoQ to ₹11,323 crore, while EBITDA rose 2.8% to ₹4,817 crore. Net loss stood at ₹5,286 crore, better than estimates. ARPU improved to ₹186 from ₹173, and the company added 4G/5G subscribers. The company also raised ₹3,300 crore via NCDs and received support from the Vodafone Group on receivables, while AGR liabilities remain frozen pending reassessment.

Hindustan Zinc

Vedanta, the promoter of Hindustan Zinc, will sell up to 1.59% stake via an offer-for-sale, including a green shoe option. The OFS will see the sale of about 6.7 crore shares at a floor price of ₹685 per share, a discount of around 5.6% to the CMP. The issue opens for non-retail investors today and for retail investors tomorrow, aimed at balance sheet deleveraging.

ABB

ABB received an order from Titagarh Rail Systems for the Mumbai Metro expansion project. The order is expected to be executed over the next three to four years.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) emerged as the L1 bidder for a project worth around ₹242 crore from Southern Railway. The project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months.

Tata Consultancy Services

TCS has begun construction of a new delivery centre in Londrina, Brazil, strengthening its presence in Latin America. The facility will serve as a major delivery and innovation hub, with an initial investment of ₹340 crore and expected completion by 2027.

Infosys

Infosys announced a strategic partnership with Cursor to offer advanced solutions for global enterprises, further strengthening its digital and AI-led service offerings.

Q3 Results Today

BEL, L&T, Maruti Suzuki and SBI Life Insurance are scheduled to announce their quarterly earnings today. While BEL and L&T will declare results post-market, Maruti Suzuki is expected to report between 1 pm and 3 pm, and SBI Life between 12 pm and 3 pm.

F&O Stocks: Piramal Pharma, TVS Motor, SBI Card, Phoenix Mills and Lodha Developers will be in focus as they announce their results, most of them after market hours.

IPO Listing

Shadowfax Technologies: Shares of logistics player Shadowfax Technologies will list on the exchanges today. The IPO, priced in the range of ₹118–₹124 per share, garnered an overall subscription of 2.72 times. The issue saw strong interest from QIBs at 3.81 times, while retail investors subscribed 2.31 times. The IPO comprised a fresh issue of ₹1,000 crore and an offer-for-sale of ₹907 crore.

Ex-Date Today

KEI Industries: Shares of KEI Industries will trade ex-dividend today for an interim dividend of ₹4.5 per share.

Key Events to Track

India’s industrial production data for December is scheduled to be released today. On the sports front, India takes on New Zealand in the 4th T20I. Globally, markets will track remarks from US President Donald Trump and the US Federal Reserve’s policy decision.
