Indian equities in the previous day's trade ended lower for the seventh straight day with the IT stocks leading the losses.
Here are the stocks to remain in focus today:
PSU stocks: The DIPAM has issued a change in guidelines for companies in the space with respect to dividend and share buyback among others.
Asian Paints: The stock will trade ex-dividend today for Rs 4.5 per share dividend.
Waaree Energies:The company in the previous session announced its July-September results. For the Q2, the company's consolidated net profit rose 17 per cent year-on-year to Rs 375.6 crore.
ONGC: For an interim dividend for the current fiscal year, the company's scrip will trade ex-dividend.
NTPC: The company's renewable energy arm will launch its Rs 10,000 crore public issue today.
Bajaj Finance: In a business update, the company said that its deposits as of September grew by 21 per cent to Rs 66,131 crore.
Ashok Leyland: The company's scrip will also trade ex-dividend in respect of its dividend of Rs 2 for the fiscal year 2025.
InfoEdge: The multiservices company's scrip will also go ex-dividend for its Rs 12 per share interim dividend.
