Multibagger PSU stock rises after coal ministry's Q1FY25 update shows jump in production
In its first quarter update of the financial year 2025, the ministry of coal said that coal dispatch in Q1 FY25 has also increased by 34.25 per cent YoY.
Coal India Share Price, bse, nse, latest news: Coal India rose on BSE on Thursday (July 4, 2024) after the ministry of coal said that coal production from captive and commercial coal mines increased by 35 per cent Year-on-Year (YoY) in the first quarter of FY25.
The Coal India stock that closed the previous trading session at Rs 485.10 jumped by 0.96 per cent to Thursday's high of Rs 489.75.
Coal India shares that opened at Rs 489.75 each of Thursday were trading higher by 0.43 per cent, or Rs 2.10, at Rs 487.20 apiece at 10:21 am on Thursday.

Coal India shares have risen by 10.10 per cent in the one month, 26.49 per cent in the six months and 109.97 per cent in the one-year period.
