D-Street Newsmakers: Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Tata Power among 7 stocks that hogged limelight today
The indices continued to trade lower and ended nearly 60 points down on the Nifty50 index at 24,619.
Indian equities in a weak trade on Monday ended lower with the FMCG and auto pack leading the losses due to individual sector woes. Nonetheless, the small and midcap indices were outperforming the headline indices.

Godrej Consumer: After hitting the 10 per cent lower circuit post releasing the company's Q3 business update, the stock ended lower with a cut of nearly 9 per cent at Rs 1,127 per share.
CEAT Tyres: The stock hit an all-time high after the company's deal with Michelin group. The said deal is said to establish CEAT as a global player in the specialty tyre segment. At the close, the stock settled higher by nearly 8 per cent at Rs 3,327.2 per share.
L&T: The bluechip infra and engineering major in Monday's trade marked an all-time high today. The stock ended with gains of over 2 per cent at Rs 3,955.95 apiece.
Delta Corp: The casino stock ended after the company's board gave its go-ahead for the revised demerger. The stock ended higher by over 1 per cent at Rs 124 per share.
Samvardhana Motherson: This stock emerged as the top loser in the Nifty Auto pack after the FADA data reveals weak November auto sales. The stock settled with a cut of over 2 per cent at Rs 166.55 per share.
Asian Paints: The paints manufacturer stock plunged nearly 2 per cent to the day's low price of Rs 2,386.05 per share. The stock ended with a cut of 1.5 per cent at Rs 2,393.15 per share.
Tata Power: The stock at the day's high traded close to its 52-week high of Rs 494.85 per share. The stock has been given a 'buy' recommendation with a target of Rs 509 by Motilal Oswal Financial Services. The stock ended mildly higher at Rs 440.6 per share.
