With the subscription complete, the next step in the process is the allotment of shares.
The basis of allotment for the Tata Capital IPO will be finalised on Thursday, October 9. Investors can check their allotment status online via the registrar’s website (MUFG Intime India) or through BSE and NSE platforms. Here's step by step process for checking allotment status check online.

- Enter Application No, DP/Client ID, PAN, or Account No/IFSC.
- Click ‘Submit’.

- Click on ‘Equity & SME IPO bid details’.
- Select ‘TATACAPITAL’ from the symbol list.
- Enter PAN and application number.

Tata Capital’s initial public offering (IPO) received a healthy response from investors, getting subscribed 1.95 times in total, as per NSE data.
The Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion was subscribed 1.10 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category saw 1.98 times subscription. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) segment led the demand, with bids coming in 3.42 times the reserved portion.
The Rs 15,511.87 crore IPO is priced in the band of Rs 310 to Rs 326 per share. It comprises a fresh issuance of Rs 6,846 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 8,665.87 crore by promoter Tata Sons and investor International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The proceeds from the fresh issue will strengthen Tata Capital’s Tier-1 capital base, supporting future lending and capital requirements. Each lot consists of 46 shares.
