Hexaware Technologies Ltd listed at a premium of over 5 per cent on Wednesday (February 19) against its issue price of Rs 708. The stock opened at Rs 731 on the BSE, registering a gain of 3.24 per cent, before rising 10.16 per cent to Rs 780. On the NSE, it debuted at Rs 745.50, up 5.29 per cent. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 46,127.06 crore.

Hexaware Technologies IPO subscription status

Hexaware Technologies' initial public offering (IPO) was fully subscribed on the final bidding day, February 14, with an overall subscription of 2.79 times. According to NSE data, the issue received bids for 24,28,44,315 shares against the total offer size of 9,14,23,354 shares. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) segment saw strong demand, subscribing 9.09 times. The non-institutional investors (NIIs) portion was subscribed 20 per cent, while retail individual investors (RIIs) subscribed to 11 per cent.

The IPO opened for bidding on February 12, 2025, and closed on February 14. Hexaware's public issue is the largest in India's IT services sector since Tata Consultancy Services' Rs 4,700-crore IPO more than two decades ago. At the upper price band of Rs 708 per share, the company commands a valuation of over Rs 43,000 crore. The IPO is a pure offer for sale (OFS), with promoter CA Magnum Holdings, an affiliate of the Carlyle Group, offloading equity shares worth Rs 8,750 crore.
