Shares of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Oil India, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals, and Chennai Petroleum Corporation--zoomed up to 9.5% on the BSE intraday on Oct 3 as the government cut windfall profit tax on domestic crude oil.
