Q4 Results on May 16

The telco said its board will meet on May 16, 2026, to consider and approve audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. The board will also evaluate a proposal to raise funds through the issuance of equity shares and/or warrants on a preferential basis, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

AGR relief boosts sentiment

Investor sentiment around Vodafone Idea has also improved after the government reduced the company’s adjusted gross revenue (AGR) liability by around 27 per cent to Rs 64,046 crore following a reassessment of statutory dues.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) had earlier estimated Vodafone Idea’s AGR dues at Rs 87,695 crore as of December 31, 2025. However, a reassessment committee later revised the amount lower and also allowed a five-year moratorium on payments.

Under the revised structure, Vodafone Idea will begin major repayments only after five years. The company will pay a minimum of Rs 100 crore annually between FY32 and FY35, while the remaining dues will be paid in six equal annual instalments between FY36 and FY41. This translates to an annual outflow of about Rs 10,608 crore in the last repayment phase.

However, the telecom operator will still have to pay around Rs 124 crore annually between March 2026 and March 2031 towards AGR dues linked to FY18 and FY19. These dues were not included in the reassessment exercise.

Q4 earnings and conference call scheduled

Vodafone Idea has already informed exchanges that the trading window for dealing in company securities has been closed since April 1, 2026, and will reopen 48 hours after the financial results are announced.

The company will also hold an earnings conference call with senior management on May 18 between 2:30 pm and 3:15 pm IST to discuss quarterly and full-year performance.
