TCS Q2 Result: 9,840 new additions made to Tata Consultancy Services workforce, says company
The second interim dividend shall be paid on Monday, November 7, 2022.
TCS Q2 Result FY2023: India's top IT company Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) started the earnings season for the second quarter of the current fiscal on Monday. TCS announced net headcount addition of 9,840 to a workforce strength of 616,171. TCS further announced that its workforce consisted of 35.7% women staff and employees of 157 nationalities made it a diverse and inclusive workplace.
“Reflecting our culture of being committed to our employees, we have honored all the job offers we had made. Our investments in capacity building and organic talent development have allowed us to substantially grow our business ahead of headcount addition this quarter. We believe our quarterly annualized attrition has peaked in Q2 and should see it taper down from this point, while compensation expectations of experienced professionals moderate,” said Milind Lakkad, Chief HR Officer.
The quarter and six-month period ended September 30, 2022 under Ind AS, which has been approved and taken on record at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held today.
The second interim dividend shall be paid on Monday, November 7, 2022, to the equity shareholders of the Company, whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, which is the Record Date fixed for the purpose.
