TCS, Bharti Airtel, 3 other blue-chip firms lose Rs 1.51 lakh crore market value in a week

Share Market Weekly Update: Domestic equity benchmark Nifty 50 lost up 133.4 points, or 0.6 per cent, last week amid selling pressure in auto, pharma, FMCG and IT stocks, though buying in metal, energy and select PSU bank stocks lent some support. Five blue-chip firms—TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HUL and Infosys—lost Rs 1.51 lakh crore in market capitalisation during the week, according to provisional exchange data.
