Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and S&P BSE Sensex ended Friday lower for the 4th straight session. The BSE Sensex slipped 101.88 points or 0.17 per cent at 60,821.62, while the Nifty50 declined 63.2 points or 0.35 per cent to 18,114.9.  

Meanwhile, the Asian markets were trading mixed on Monday. Japanese Nikkei 225 index were down over 300 points to 28,498, losing more than 1 per cent in the early trade around 8.10 am.  Around the same time, Hong Kong's Hang Sang Index was up 32 points at 26,140 and Shanghai composite Index gained 7 points on Monday morning to trade marginally up at 3590 points.

The wall street indices—S&P 500, Nasadaq composite and Dow Jones Industrial Average also closed mixed.  Dow Jones added 75 points, Nasdaq slipped 125 points and S&P 500 closed flat with negative bias.
