Shares to Track for Monday, February 24: Domestic equity benchmarks declined about half a per cent each on Friday amid selling pressure in auto, financial and energy shares, with the Sensex losing about 425 points to end at 75,311 and the Nifty50 giving up 117 points to settle four points below the 22,800 mark. As market participants await the next session on Dalal Street, with the earnings season now behind and persistent FII selling, here are a number of stocks that are set to be in the spotlight on Monday, February 24.

Stock to Track for February 24: Coal India Ltd (CIL)

Coal India has signed an agreement with EDF subsidiary EDF India to establish a joint venture to focus on PSP and renewable energy projects in the domestic as well as neibhbouring markets.

Updater Services has received a tax demand notice to the tune of Rs 6.5 crore.

A number of changes have been announced in NSE indices including Nifty50, Nifty Next 50, Nifty MidSmallcap 400, Nifty Midcap 50, Nifty Auto and Nifty FMCG.

With effect from March 28, Jio Financial Services and Zomato will replace BPCL and Britannia in the headline index, according to NSE.

In the Nifty Next 50,  Bajaj Housing Finance, BPCL, Hyundai Motor India, Swiggy, IHCL, CG Power and Britannia are set to replace Adani Total Gas, Zomato, Jio Financial, NHPC, IRCTC, BHEL and Union Bank of India.

In the Nifty 500, Ola Electric, NTPC Green and Wockhardt are among the 30 stocks set to replace others, including VIP Industries and Metro Brands.

These changes are part of a semi-annual rebalancing exercise undertaken by NSE.
