Stock Market Today: Bulls reclaim D-Street; Sensex up 549 pts, Nifty crosses 25,300 after 3-day slump
Stock Market Today: Indian equity benchmarks opened firm on Thursday, January 22, tracking positive early cues.
The BSE Sensex rose 549.48 points, or 0.67 per cent, to 82,459.11 in early trade. The index opened at 82,459.66, compared with its previous close of 81,909.63.
The Nifty 50 also started the session on a strong note. It climbed 169.60 points, or 0.67 per cent, to 25,327.10. The benchmark opened at 25,344.15, versus a previous close of 25,157.50.
