As India gears up for an extended weekend, stock market investors should take note of the upcoming holiday next week. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Friday, March 14, 2025, in observance of Holi. No trading activities will take place on that particular day.
There will be no trading in the equity, equity derivative and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments on Holi, according to the official holiday schedule released by BSE (bseindia.com) and NSE (nseindia.com)
Additionally, the currency derivatives and electronic gold receipts (EGR) segments will also remain closed. Investors should plan their trading activities accordingly, as no transactions will be processed during the holiday.
