IRCTC, BHEL, HAL, Vedanta, Vodafone Idea, other stocks to track on Wednesday

Domestic equity benchmarks slumped 1.3 per cent each amid a broad-based sell-off on Tuesday, tracking nervousness across global markets following US President Donald Trump’s that he would slap reciprocal tariffs on several countries. The Sensex ended 1,018.2 points lower at 76,293.6 and the Nifty50 settled at 23,071.8, down 309.8 points from its previous close. Financial, auto, FMCG, IT and energy shares were the worst hit in the across-the-board selling.

Berger Paints has reported a set of quarterly numbers that are in line with analysts’ expectations.

IRCTC

IRCTC has staged a strong financial performance for the third quarter of the current financial year.

Its net profit increased 13.7 per cent to Rs 341.1 crore for the December quarter.

IRCTC has declared a dividend of Rs 3 per share.

Bajaj Healthcare

Bajaj Healthcare has posted a mixed set of results for the December quarter.

BHEL

BHEL has secured a project worth Rs 6,200 crore from Damodar Valley Corporation.

Vedanta

Vedanta’s board has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore through NCDs.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea staged a better-than-expected financial performance for the third quarter of the current financial year.

Its net loss narrowed to Rs 6,609 crore for the December quarter from Rs 7,176 crore the previous quarter.

Zee Business analysts had pegged the private sector telecom company's quaterly loss at Rs 7,150 crore.

Its average revenue per user improved by 4.2 per cent to Rs 173.
