IRCTC has staged a strong financial performance for the third quarter of the current financial year.

Its net profit increased 13.7 per cent to Rs 341.1 crore for the December quarter.

Vodafone Idea staged a better-than-expected financial performance for the third quarter of the current financial year.

Its net loss narrowed to Rs 6,609 crore for the December quarter from Rs 7,176 crore the previous quarter.

Zee Business analysts had pegged the private sector telecom company's quaterly loss at Rs 7,150 crore.

Its average revenue per user improved by 4.2 per cent to Rs 173.
