The Union Budget had already announced the plan as part of efforts to boost domestic manufacturing and cut down on reliance on imports. The government had already announced a Rs 10,000 crore Container Manufacturing Assistance Scheme (CMAS) for the fiscal year 2026–27. The aim is to scale up domestic production of shipping containers.</p>

<h2><strong>CONCOR holds gains, trades near day’s high</strong></h2>
<p>Shares of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) were trading at Rs 496.45, up 1.48 per cent on Thursday. The stock opened at Rs 496.85 and moved in a range of Rs 490.10 to Rs 498.80 during the session, indicating steady buying interest.</p>
<p>The company’s market capitalisation stood at Rs 37.75KCr. The stock remains below its 52-week high of Rs 652.04, while holding above its 52-week low of Rs 421.45.</p>
<h2><strong>SCI sees strong momentum, outperforms peers</strong></h2>
<p>Shares of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) gained 3.88 per cent to trade at Rs 263.17. The stock opened at Rs 255.75 and touched an intraday high of Rs 267.00, with a low of Rs 251.51.</p>
<p>The market capitalisation stood at Rs 12.21KCr. SCI is trading close to its 52-week high of Rs 280.50 and well above its 52-week low of Rs 158.06, indicating strong momentum.</p>
<h2><strong>Adani Enterprises edges higher in range-bound trade</strong></h2>
<p>Shares of Adani Enterprises rose 1.38 per cent to Rs 2,174. The stock opened at Rs 2,170.00 and traded in a narrow band between Rs 2,161.10 and Rs 2,190.90.</p>
<p>The company’s market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.05LCr. The stock remains below its 52-week high of Rs 2,612.76 but well above its 52-week low of Rs 1,753.00.</p>
