Orkla India IPO Listing: Shares of Orkla India Limited debuted on Dalal Street at a nearly 3 per cent premium over the issue price on Thursday, November 6. The stock of the Indian food company opened for trade at Rs 750.10 on the NSE and at Rs 751.50 on the BSE, translating to a premium of 2.75 per cent and 2.95 per cent over the issue price, respectively.

Earlier on Thursday, Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi predicted the stock to list in the price range of Rs 780 to 790 against the issue price of Rs 730.

The market analyst noted that the issue got an amazing response from investors and was subscribed to 49 times.

He advises short and long-term investors to keep a stop loss below Rs 745 and apply for long-term and small listing gains.

Orkla India IPO subscription highlights

Overall, investors bid for 77.96 crore shares against the total shares on offer. The subscription includes bids from institutional buyers, institutional investors and retail investors categories who booked the issue 117.63 times, 54.42 times and 7.05 times, respectively.

In terms of shares, QIBs, NIIs, and RIIs have bid 53.67 crore shares, 18.62 crore, and 5.62 crore shares, respectively, out of their allotted portions.

Orkla India IPO details

The Orkla India IPO is a book-build issue of Rs 1,667.54 crore, comprising entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 2.28 crore shares. As an OFS, the IPO proceeds will be allocated entirely to the selling shareholders.

Through OFS, the company's promoters, Orkla Asa, Orkla Asia Holdings As and Orkla Asia Pacific Pte Ltd are offloading around 15 per cent of their stake.

Price band: Rs 695 to Rs 730 apiece (with a face value of Rs 1 per equity share)

Subscription date: From October 29 to October 31, 2025

Lot size: 20 shares (minimum investment of Rs 14,600)

Financially, the food company's net profit rose to Rs 255.7 crore in FY25 from Rs 226.3 crore in the previous year, and its revenue stood at Rs 2,455.2 crore.
