State-owned mining giant NMDC Ltd. has announced an interim dividend of Rs 2.30 per share for the financial year 2024-25, its first dividend of the fiscal. The board of the company sanctioned the dividend in a meeting on March 17, 2025, according to an exchange filing.
Record date for NMDC dividend
NMDC share holders as of March 21, 2025, will be entitled to receive the dividend. The payment will be made within the stipulated time frame under the Companies Act, 2013, favouring those in the Register of Members or depository records as of record date.
NMDC dividend history and payout trends
With this declaration, NMDC has now announced 44 dividends since August 2003. In the last 12 months, the PSU has distributed Rs 1.50 per share, with a current dividend yield of 2.31 per cent, as per market data.
Besides dividends, NMDC had also given bonus shares in a 2:1 ratio earlier this year, rewarding its shareholders further.
