With the first bi-monthly review of 2025 and Delhi election results out of the way now, macroeconomic data, corporate earnings, institutional investor flows, and global cues will set the stage for Dalal Street participants this week. Last week, the Nifty50 gained 51.6 points or 0.2 per cent while the Sensex added 359.6 points or 0.5 per cent, driven by healthcare, auto and consumer durable shares. Financial stocks staged mixed moves, with private banks staging cautious gains and PSU lenders facing selling pressure.
As market participants prepare for a new trading week, here are number of things to track going forward:
MARKET THIS WEEK | DOMESTIC CUES
Macroeconomic data
On Wednesday, separate official data sets on consumer inflation and industrial production in the country will be released at 4 pm.
Data on wholesale inflation is due at noon on Friday.
Corporate Earnings
More than 2,000 companies are scheduled to report their financial results for the October-December period during the week.
Here are a few major names to track:
- Monday: Coal India, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospitals, Escorts, Grasim, Nykaa, Bata India
- Tuesday: SAIL, Vodafone Idea, Berger Paints, Lupin, Campus Activewear

FII & DII Activity
Institutional fund flows will continue to be in focus on Dalal Street this week. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have net sold Indian shares worth Rs 10,179 crore so far this month, according to provisional exchange data. During the same period, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have made net purchases of Rs 7,274 crore.
