Lenskart IPO: What Anil Singhvi Suggests?

Market expert Anil Singhvi said that while the Lenskart IPO received a strong response with 28 times subscription, the listing near or slightly below the issue price was not surprising given current market trends.

He noted that even heavily subscribed IPOs are listing weakly these days. Singhvi reiterated that his advice was for only aggressive, risk-taking investors to invest for the long term, not for short-term listing gains.

He added that if the stock declines further after listing, buying interest could emerge at lower levels, as investors who applied despite negative publicity are in it for the company’s long-term potential.

For now, he suggests short-term investors keep a stop-loss below the issue price, while long-term investors can hold their positions.
