Earnings Reaction
IndusInd Bank: Up 1.87%. The private lender has reported a 99% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 1,016 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 510 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Karnataka Bank: Up 2.78%. Private sector Karnataka Bank has reported a 45.9% YoY decline in the profit at Rs 106 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, as compared to Rs 196 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Torrent pharma: Up 2.57%. Drug firm Torrent Pharmaceuticals has reported a 3% YoY rise in the profit at Rs 330 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 321 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Granules: Up 0.55%. Drug firm Granules India has reported an 8% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 120 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 111 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Aarti Drugs: Down 5.91%. The pharmaceutical company has reported a 43% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 48.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 85.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Sequentially, the profit dropped 6% from Rs 51.6 crore posted in the previous quarter ended March 31, 2021.
InterGlobe Aviation: Down 2.63%. Interglobe Aviation, the company that flies the airline IndiGo, has reported a loss of Rs 3,174 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a loss of Rs 1,157.5 crore in the previous quarter ended March 31, 2021.
Dalmia Bharat: Down 4.12%. The company has reported a 19% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 227 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 190 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
IIFL Finance: Down 1.52%. Financial services company has reported a 550% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 104 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 16 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
BLS International: Up 13.35%. IT service management company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. It had posted a consolidated loss of Rs 0.79 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
IPO Updates: Rolex Rings + Glenmark Life
Rolex Rings: The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Rolex Rings that opened for subscription today was subscribed 1.70 times by 12:50 pm today. The public offer will close on July 30, 2021. The company has set the price band for the issue in Rs 880-900 range. The company seeks to raise Rs 731 crore through the public issue. On the block is a fresh issue of shares aggregating up to Rs 56 crore and an offer for sale of up to 7,500,000 shares worth Rs 675 crore. Investors can bid for a minimum of 16 equity shares and in multiples of 16 thereafter.
Glenmark Life Sciences IPO: The initial public offer (IPO) of Glenmark Life Sciences, a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, was subscribed 2.73 times by 12:50 pm on the second day of subscription. The issue will close on July 29, 2021. The company seeks to raise up to Rs 1,513.6 crore from the primary market investors. The price band of the offer has been fixed at Rs 695-720 per share and investors can bid for a minimum of 20 equity shares, in a single lot, and in multiples of 20 equity shares thereafter. The initial public offer (IPO) will have a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 1,060 crore and the sale of up to 63 lakh equity shares by Glenmark Pharma.
