What Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi says on Home First IPO

This IPO is opening today. The Managing Editor said that this is a good company. It is in housing finance. This is a sector which is overcrowded. But one must also know that this segment is very big. The price of real estate has shot up significantly and it is not easy to buy home.

"The demand for loans up 10-20 lakh will always be there," he opined.

This company has its presence in affordable housing. The history of this company is strong though it is not a very old company. The company has seen growth on a low base. The valuations are very attractive. In IPO valuation gap is an important factor. Investors should invest for listing gains, he said.

Anil Singhvi on IRFC IPO

The Market Guru said that investors should draw distinctions while making decision to invest in a particular IPO. Not every IPO should be seen as an investment opportunity, he cautioned.

There are good chances for investors to get allotment. He said that allotment is received only if there is not a big gap in issue price and the listing price. In this case also, the listing will be near the issue price, he said.

Investors who have invested in this IPO with a long term view should hold it. It will be seen if there are listing gains in this.

It was known that the response in IRFC IPO would be less. The institutional investors who have bought this issue have taken a long term view on this stock. IRFC is not a company whose issues could be purchased for short term, he said.

The returns in this stock will come over a period of time.

Anil Singhvi on Indigo Paints IPO

Meanwhile, Indigo Paints has been subscribed two times. The Market Guru said that he had recommended this stock for listing gains. This is not to say that the company is not good for listing gains. He said that this issue will give significant gains on listing.
