Groww IPO: Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd, the parent firm of fintech platform Groww, has unveiled the details of its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). The issue will open for public subscription on November 4, 2025, and close on November 7, 2025. The total IPO size stands at Rs 6,632.30 crore.
The offering includes a fresh issue of 10.60 crore equity shares amounting to Rs 1,060 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 55.72 crore shares worth Rs 5,572.30 crore.
For small non-institutional investors (sNII), the minimum application size is fixed at 14 lots, or 2,100 shares, valued at Rs 2.10 lakh. For large non-institutional investors (bNII), the lot size is 67 lots, or 10,050 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 10.05 lakh.
The basis of allotment will be finalised on November 10, 2025, while the stock is expected to list on both the BSE and NSE on November 12, 2025.
According to the company’s prospectus, Groww intends to deploy the IPO proceeds towards business expansion and technology enhancement. Of the total funds raised, Rs 152.50 crore will go towards cloud infrastructure, Rs 225 crore for brand building and marketing, Rs 205 crore to increase the capital base of its NBFC arm GCS, and Rs 167.50 crore for funding the margin trading business of subsidiary GIT. The remaining proceeds will be utilised for acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
Groww has been profitable for the last three years. The company currently operates 14 products, with stocks and mutual funds being its key focus areas. Every one in three SIPs in India is done through Groww, while every fourth demat account is opened on the platform.
CEO Lalit Keshre and COO Harsh Jain, in a conversation with Zee Business, said, “We know tech and we follow a customer-first approach. We will continue to build new products for investors and maintain strong profitability while expanding our market share.”
