Fractal Analytics share price: Shares of Fractal Analytics made a muted stock market debut on Monday, February 16, as the artificial intelligence (AI)-based unicorn listed at Rs 876 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reflecting a discount of 2.67 per cent compared with its issue price of Rs 900.

On the BSE, the stock listed at Rs 900, exactly at its issue price, indicating a flat debut with no listing gains for investors.

The allotment of the Fractal Analytics IPO was finalised on Thursday, February 12, following a healthy overall subscription led by strong participation from institutional investors.

By the end of the bidding period, the IPO was subscribed 2.66 times, according to BSE data. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) showed the highest interest, with their portion subscribed 4.18 times. The non-institutional investors (NIIs) category was booked 1.06 times, while the retail investor quota was subscribed 1.03 times, reflecting moderate participation from individual investors.

The robust response from institutional investors indicated confidence in the company’s growth prospects in the artificial intelligence and analytics space.

Fractal Analytics IPO price band and issue structure

The price band for the Fractal Analytics IPO was set at Rs 857 to Rs 900 per equity share, with a face value of Re 1 per share. The lot size was fixed at 16 equity shares and multiples thereof.

The total issue size stood at Rs 2,834 crore. This included a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 1,023.5 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of Rs 1,810.4 crore.

The fresh issue proceeds will be used partly to support its subsidiary by repaying certain outstanding borrowings. The company also plans to allocate funds toward purchasing laptops, expanding office infrastructure, and investing in research and development, sales and marketing, and potential acquisitions.

Business profile and client base

Fractal Analytics operates in the artificial intelligence and advanced analytics segment and serves clients across sectors such as consumer packaged goods and retail, technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare and life sciences, and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI).

As of March 31, 2025, the company’s client base included global technology majors such as Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Tesla, highlighting its strong presence among large global enterprises.

Lead managers and registrar

Kotak Capital, Morgan Stanley India, Axis Capital, and Goldman Sachs acted as the book-running lead managers for the IPO. MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. served as the registrar to the issue.
