Competitive Pressure Eases

Exports have also strengthened significantly, with a 64 per cent increase over the previous period. This demonstrates Royal Enfield’s growing presence in international markets and adds to its revenue base.

Opportunities in the 200–300cc Segment

In the 200–300cc segment, a significant market gap still exists. Jefferies suggests that Eicher Motors could benefit by introducing a new model below the Hunter range to capture this opportunity. The success of the Hunter 350 has already helped strengthen the company’s mid-range portfolio, enhancing its market share and profit potential.

Looking ahead, both market share and profitability outlook for the company have improved. Jefferies has raised Eicher Motors’ earnings per share (EPS) forecast for FY26–28 by 3–8 per cent, reflecting confidence in the company’s growth prospects.

Record September Sales

Royal Enfield achieved record monthly sales in September 2025, selling 1,24,328 motorcycles, the highest in the brand’s history. Domestic sales stood at 1,13,573 units, up 43 per cent from 79,325 units in September 2024. Exports reached 10,755 motorcycles, up 41 per cent from 7,653 units in the same month last year. Year-to-date, total sales reached 5,91,903 units, a 30 per cent increase from 4,54,780 units in the previous year.
