Eicher Motors Ltd on Thursday reported a 24 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 1,369 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, supported by robust performance across both Royal Enfield and its commercial vehicle business. The company had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 1,100 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations surged 45 per cent to Rs 6,172 crore during the July–September quarter, compared with Rs 4,263 crore in the corresponding period of FY25, Eicher Motors said in a regulatory filing.

Record sales at Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield, the motorcycle division of Eicher Motors, achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales volume of 3,27,067 units, up 45 per cent from 2,25,317 units sold in the year-ago quarter. The strong demand was driven by new product launches and festive buying momentum.

Steady growth at VECV

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) — a joint venture between Eicher Motors and Volvo Group — posted revenue of Rs 6,106 crore, up 10 per cent from Rs 5,538 crore last year. The division sold 21,901 vehicles during the quarter, compared with 20,774 units in the same period a year earlier.

VECV’s PAT stood at Rs 249 crore, registering a 20 per cent increase year-on-year. “This has been a truly encouraging quarter for Eicher Motors, as we recorded strong performance across the board for both Royal Enfield and VECV,” said B Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors.

Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director and CEO of VECV, added that GST rationalisation has boosted consumer confidence, which is likely to support commercial vehicle demand in the coming quarters.

Stock performance

Shares of Eicher Motors closed 0.7 per cent lower at Rs 6,830.80 apiece on the BSE on Thursday.
