Coal India Dividend 2023: Check record date and payment date

Coal India Dividend Record Date 2023: Coal India has announced to pay dividend to its shareholders. This would be the second interim dividend that the public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Coal will pay. According to an exchange filing, Coal India will pay an interim dividend of Rs 5.25 per equity share having a face value of Rs 10 each.

"Board of Directors at its meeting held on date has inter alia, declared 2nd Interim Dividend for the financial year 2022-23 @ Rs.5.25 per share of the face value of Rs 10/- as recommended by the Audit Committee of CIL at its meeting held," the company said.

Coal India Dividend 2023 Record Date

Coal India has fixed record date for the payment of interim dividend. According to information available on NSE website, Coal India shares will trade ex-date on February 7. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of Rs 5.25 dividend amount is February 8.

"The company has fixed Wednesday, 8th Feb’ 2023 as the Record Date for the purpose of declaration of 2nd Interim Dividend on equity shares," the company said in the filing. 

Coal India Dividend 2023 Payment Date

The dividend amount will be credited directly into the shareholders' bank account linked to their Demat account on the payment date. The payment date shall be March 2. "The date of payment of 2nd Interim Dividend shall be within 2nd March’23," the company said.

Coal India Q3 Result

Coal India has reported a 70.1 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 7,755.5 crore for the quarter ended December 2022 on the back of higher sales. The company had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 4,558.3 crore in the year-ago period.

The consolidated sales of the company during the October-December period increased to Rs 32,429.46 crore, over Rs 25,990.97 crore a year ago.
