Share Market Today, September 26: Sensex, Nifty likely to open positive; GIFT Nifty futures up over 50 pts

Stock Market, NSE Nifty, BSE Sensex, Global Markets; US Stocks, Asian Stocks: Headline indices Sensex and Nifty will likely start today's (September 26) session in a positive zone. At around 7:45 am, GIFT Nifty futures, an early indicator of the 50-share index, were up 53 points or 0.21 per cent at 26,051 ahead of the opening bell on Dalal Street.

• Nasdaq ended at 18,082.21, up 7.68 points or 0.04 per cent
• S&P 500 fell 10.67 points or 0.19 per cent at 5,722.26
• Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 829.66 points or 2.19 per cent at 38,699.92
• South Korea's KOSPI was up 45.42 points or 1.75 per cent at 2,641.74
• Hong Kong's Hang Seng up 173.47 points or 0.90 per cent at 19,302.57
