Vodafone Idea Share Price: Vodafone Idea informed stock exchanges after market hours on Tuesday, May 12, that its board of directors will meet on Saturday, May 16, to consider a proposal for raising funds.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the proposed fund raise may be carried out through the issuance of equity shares and/or warrants on a preferential basis.

The company said the board will evaluate various fundraising options as part of its efforts to strengthen its financial position and support future business requirements.

Q4 results also scheduled on May 16

Apart from the fundraising proposal, Vodafone Idea’s board is also scheduled to consider and approve the company’s financial results for the fourth quarter on the same day.

Stock pares losses before closing
