The bank under discussion is Capital Small Finance Bank Ltd, which has fixed Thursday, June 18, 2026, as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for its proposed final dividend.

Capital Small Finance Bank Ltd: Dividend and face value

The bank has recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10, translating into a 50 per cent payout.

Who is eligible?

Investors who hold shares of this small finance bank till the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend. However, this will be subject to approval by shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on June 25, 2026, the bank said in the exchange filing.

Capital Small Finance Bank: Dividend higher than in previous years

The proposed dividend marks an increase from the Rs 4 per share final dividend announced for FY25. In FY24, the bank had paid a final dividend of Rs 1.20 per share.

If approved at the AGM, the dividend will be credited or dispatched within 30 days from the date of the meeting. This means that the dividend will be paid on July 25, 2026.

Capital Small Finance Bank Q4 Results Highlights

The dividend announcement comes on the back of a healthy set of quarterly results. Capital Small Finance Bank reported a net profit of Rs 40 crore for the March quarter, up 17 per cent from Rs 34 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

  • Net interest income (NII) rose 17 per cent year-on-year to Rs 121 crore, while total income increased 16.8 per cent to Rs 300 crore.
  • Gross advances increased 20.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 8,687 crore, while total deposits crossed the Rs 10,000 crore milestone and stood at Rs 10,018 crore.
  • Disbursements during the quarter grew 20.1 per cent to Rs 919 crore. The MSME loan book expanded 46 per cent to Rs 2,209 crore, reflecting strong demand from small businesses.
  • In the previous quarter, gross non-performing assets (GNPA) improved to 2.54 per cent from 2.68 per cent, while net NPA declined to 1.24 per cent from 1.35 per cent.
  • The bank reported a net interest margin (NIM) of 4.1 per cent and a return on assets (ROA) of 1.33 per cent.
  • Capital adequacy remained robust at 22.31 per cent, with Tier-I capital at 19.58 per cent.

Capital Small Finance Bank Share Price Performance

Shares of Capital Small Finance Bank closed at Rs 278 on the NSE, up 1.02 per cent or Rs 2.80 in the latest trading session. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 278.50 and a low of Rs 271.10.

The bank commands a market capitalisation of around Rs 1,260 crore. Its 52-week high stands at Rs 330.65, while the 52-week low is Rs 206.55.
