Bharti Airtel Limited announced a final dividend of Rs 24 per share, or 480 per cent on face value, following a strong Q4 FY26 performance.

Bharti Airtel Announces Dividend: Bharti Airtel Limited has recommended a final dividend of Rs 24 per fully paid-up equity share of face value Rs 5 each for the financial year 2025-26, translating into a 480 per cent dividend payout.

The dividend proposal was approved by the company’s board on May 13, 2026, and is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Partly paid shares to receive Rs 6 dividend

Apart from fully paid-up shares, the telecom major has also announced a dividend of Rs 6 per partly paid-up equity share for FY26.
The payout reflects the company’s continued focus on rewarding shareholders amid improving profitability and strong operational performance.

Q4 earnings support dividend decision

Bharti Airtel reported a 10 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for Q4 FY26 at Rs 7,325 crore compared with Rs 6,631 crore in the previous quarter.

Revenue from operations rose 3 per cent to Rs 55,383 crore, while EBITDA increased to Rs 31,492 crore.

One of the key highlights of the quarter was the company’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), which stood at Rs 257 in Q4 FY26 compared with Rs 245 in the year-ago period, reflecting continued premiumisation and strong customer spending trends.

Dividend higher than previous year

The latest dividend announcement marks an increase from the previous financial year. For FY25, Bharti Airtel Limited had announced a final dividend of Rs 16 per share in May 2025.

ARPU remains above Rs 250 mark

One of the key highlights of the quarter was Bharti Airtel’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), which stood at Rs 257 in Q4 FY26 compared with Rs 245 in the corresponding quarter last year.

However, on a sequential basis, ARPU saw a slight decline from Rs 259 reported in the December quarter to Rs 257 in the March quarter.

ARPU remains one of the most closely tracked indicators in the telecom sector as it reflects customer spending patterns and revenue quality.
